Different Fashion Styles To Consider

By Lauren Brown

Shopping for shirts, pants, shoes and more can end up confusing the average person. To maximize your fashion potential, it’s important to consider grouping these pieces together into categories. This is where the term “style” comes into the equation. Fashion styles will vary and a person’s taste will determine what they prefer on a day-to-day basis. Here are some of the different fashion styles an individual may consider while they’re sifting through the options in search of the perfect fit.

Chic

Style Trends Fashion Design Classy Chic ConceptThis is a classic fashion style and one that earns significant attention among fashionistas. The premise is to take classic pieces and turn them into something edgy and smart. How is this done? It can be something as simple as a sweater but putting it together with a well-fitted blazer. This adds new flavor to those simple pieces and makes them stand out. It’s also about bringing together a solid set of colors and ensuring they don’t stand out when pieced together. They should remain harmonious with one another while hugging the body.

Exotic

This is preferred for those who enjoy stepping out of their comfort zone in a bid to try something unique. It can be exotic in its material, colors, or shape. The easiest way to pursue this fashion style is to consider different prints. These are easy to piece together and will portray the image a person is going for with that sense of mystery. It is an ideal option for those who prefer to get past the monotony regular styles can present.

With this style, attention is given to jewelry as a means to stand out and complete the outfit. Remember, with this fashion style; it’s not about putting together wild pieces of clothing but to also shape them into a wholesome outfit that works well.

Western

This is another fun fashion style that tends to make the rounds for people wanting to maximize their fashion potential. The idea is to bring a bit of that Southwestern look into one’s life whether it involves boots, cowboy hats, or a fringe jacket. Combining these pieces together can turn one into a Western fashionista, and that’s always fun. In certain parts of the US, this is a standard fashion style and is often preferred.

Preppy

This can be seen on most college campuses and is a classic look for younger students who are still in school. It involves the use of simple items such as A-line skirts, opaque shirts, and blouses as staple pieces. By combining these pieces, the preppy style comes to life as an affordable, elegant option to wear from place to place. It provides the right balance for those who want to enjoy the clothes they wear.

These are just some of the different fashion styles to consider for those wanting to take the next step with their outfits. It might not be as easy as one thinks but when a style is selected, it’s easier to buy the accompanying pieces to fill one’s wardrobe.
